The fashion catalog, published by De Luca Editori D’Arte, is called “Sogni cuciti a mano” (Dreams sewn by hand) and it was made on the inauguration of the Museum of Art Sartorial in Capracotta, near Isernia (Molise-Italy). The idea started in 1996 by Sebastiano Di Rienzo, president of the National Academy of the Sartori, but just in july 2015 it has become reality.
“Inside the fashion collection – explain the designers – there are photos and frames of couture creations, wearers for AltaRomaAltaModa, for the fashion shows and the National Academy of the Sartori, dresses made for actresses, singers, men of the high world politics, and yet details and accessories“. Other contributions are: Adriano The Queen, president National Institute of Archeology and History of Art; Maria Stella Smith, writer and journalist; Stefano Dominella, president Fashion House Gattinoni; Savior Santilli, architect who has the project of the Museum; Mary Delli Paintings, curator of the biography dedicated to Di Rienzo.
The museum is a space of 150 square meters, all dedicated to couture creations of Sebastiano Di Rienzo, from the fifties-sixty, the concurrency: the clothes are more than 500 and all original.
Sebastiano talks about his creation them “my small paintings”.
The S.E.B.A. Museum was inaugurated in the same period of the hold Fashion week of AltaRomaAltaModa 2015 and represents a real monument to the sartorial fashion.
Di Rienzo was teacher at the European Institute of Design in Rome. “The Museum, is a unique national – explains the writer Maria Stella Rossi – is a personal affirmation of concreteness dreamed by Sebastiano Di Rienzo, in his native country”.
“Nel catalogo – spiegano gli ideatori – ci sono foto e fotogrammi di vita e di creazioni sartoriali, indossatori e indossatrici per AltaRomaAltaModa, per le sfilate dell’Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori, abiti realizzati per attrici, cantanti, uomini dell’ alta politica mondiale, e ancora dettagli e accessori”. Il Catalogo vede l’Egida del Parlamento Europeo, il Patrocinio dell’Accademia Nazionale dei Sartori e del World Federation of Master Tailors , la collaborazione della Camera di Commercio di Isernia, del Comune di Capracotta, dell’Istituto Banco di Napoli – Fondazione
Per quanto riguarda il museo, invece, si tratta di uno spazio di oltre centottanta metri quadri, tutto dedicato alle creazioni sartoriali di Sebastiano Di Rienzo, dagli anni cinquanta-sessanta, alla contemporaneità: gli abiti sono oltre 500 e tutti originali, cioè realizzati come prima ispirazione. L’autore li definisce “i miei piccoli quadri”.
Il Museo SEBA è inaugurato in concomitanza con l’attesa Fashion week di AltaRomaAlta Moda 2015e rappresenta un vero e proprio monumento alla moda sartoriale, anche come spazio didattico per quanti vorranno visitarlo, soprattutto per i ragazzi dei vari ordini di scuola fino alle Accademie. Di Rienzo è stato per anni docente all’Istituto Europeo del Design. “Il Museo, un unicum nazionale – spiega la scrittrice Maria Stella Rossi – è la personale affermazione di concretezza sognata e di sogno concretizzato da Sebastiano Di Rienzo, nel suo paese d’origine”.
