Alla Reggia di Caserta arriva Borbot l’assistente virtuale unisce Borboni e Robotica

È vestito alla moda e con colori che riflettono il calore sud. È il nuovo inquilino della Reggia di Caserta.

Si chiama Borbot ed è il primo assistente virtuale in un museo italiano. Il Palazzo reale di Caserta fu voluto dal Re di Napoli Carlo di Borbone ed è la residenza reale più grande al mondo. Nel 1997 è stata dichiarata patrimonio dell’UNESCO.

Borbot avrà un bel da fare visto che la Reggia di Caserta è al dodicesimo posto in Italia tra i siti museali statali più visitati: nel 2016 ha ricevuto un totale di 683 070 visitatori.

Borbot è un app con intelligenza artificiale applicata che comunica tramite il social network Facebook. È in grado di rispondere alle domande che riceve e dare informazioni su orari e biglietti. Quando la domanda del turista richiede una risposta più “articolata”, Borbot reindirizza l’utente verso un operatore oppure verso una pagina web contenente le informazioni complete.

Ovviamente il progetto è tutto made in Italy, creato dalla startup 360open Srl, nata nel 2015. Lo staff del progetto è composto da Nicola De Toro, Emanuele Gionti, Tommaso Zottolo e Shapur Zabhian.

Il nome “Borbot” cela una storia che fonde passato e futuro è che unisce i Borboni e la Robotica. Il suo lavoro principale è assistere i turisti assetati di cultura e bellezze del luogo. E chissà che a breve non possa ricevere in aiuto una Borbot girl che potrebbe occuparsi della descrizione delle bellezze del parco, ove ci sono giardini all’italiana e giardini all’inglese con una cascata che da vita a fontane monumentali.
