Quando ho disegnato la copertina del mio nuovo libro ho pensato inevitabilmente alle mie donne… quelle sempre presenti nella mia vita!
Un pensiero fisso mi ha accompagnato per tutta la fase del brainstorming.
Dovevamo essere in quattro e in posizione di abbraccio. La mia nonna, mia madre, mia figlia e io. Un cerchio. In esso l’energia non ha ostacoli. Fluisce libera di rinnovarsi!
L’idea si è arricchita di un ricordo di folgorazione avvenuto al Museo degli Uffizi Firenze, durante un viaggio in cui l’utile si fondeva alla grande col dilettevole!
Eh, già! Quella emozione provata in quel momento è venuta, letteralmente, a farmi visita… come quando i bambini giocano con l’acqua a far andare a fondo un oggetto leggero: piano piano la forza dell’acqua stessa lo spinge a galla.
Dunque, è riaffiorata così nella mia mente!

Quando mi sono trovata al cospetto della grande pittura su tavola realizzata da Michelangelo, eccellenza del Rinascimento italiano, dove forza, bellezza e spiritualità si fondono in un’immagine straordinaria… mi sono quasi paralizzata! 🤯
Sì, la mia idea 💡 era per la strada giusta… e per questo l’ho lasciata andare.
Così è nata la copertina del volume in cui celebro la mia città (Isernia) descrivendo le sue bellezze e in cui, spero di cuore, chiunque possa riconoscersi. 💞
Tutto ciò per dire che… il rispetto delle donne nel nostro vivere, pensare e agire quotidiano possiede un valore altissimo!🥰

Women’s Day… and what women!
When I designed the cover of my new book, I inevitably thought of my women… always present in my life!
One thought stayed with me throughout the entire brainstorming phase.
We had to be four, standing in an embrace: my grandmother, my mother, my daughter and me. A circle. Within it, energy has no obstacles. It flows freely, constantly renewing itself.
The idea was enriched by a memory of a moment of revelation that happened in Florence, during a trip where the useful blended beautifully with the pleasurable.
Yes, indeed! That emotion I felt in that moment literally came back to visit me… like when children play with water and push a light object down: little by little the force of the water itself brings it back to the surface.
And so it resurfaced in my mind. Do you know the Doni Tondo?
When I found myself in front of this great panel painting by Michelangelo Buonarroti, a masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance where strength, beauty and spirituality merge into an extraordinary image… I was almost paralyzed with awe! 🤯
Yes, my idea 💡 was on the right path… and for that reason I let it flow.
This is how the cover of the book was born—a volume in which I celebrate my city, Isernia, describing its beauty and in which, I sincerely hope, everyone can recognize a part of themselves. 💞
All this to say that… respect for women in the way we live, think and act every day holds an incredibly high value.
Truly fortunate is anyone who has them in their life. 🌼💛🐼
