Una serata a teatro dedicata a Isernia.
I temi affrontati sono strati davvero vari nello spettacolo de “La Traversata” ideata da Franco Capone e svoltasi la scorso 21 settembre presso l’Auditorium “10 Settembre 1943” di Isernia.
La città di Isernia ha dimostrato gradimento per impegno e collaborazione tra noi dell’associazione del Gruppo Folk città di Isernia, gli amici dell’associazione culturale Aretè , gli Amici dell’Auser, il Circolo Musicale Pietro Mascagni e i musicisti Davide Aureli Nicola Graziano, Giuseppe Lanese, Daniele Monaco, Florindo Vitullo e Simone Margiotta.

Lo stesso calore ricevuto per lo spettacolo di “Kalena, Sernia mea” dell’anno scorso.
L’Isernia che sà apprezzare… merita questo e tanto altro di più 💞!

Un crivello / setaccio / vaglio non è altro che un grande lembo di legno piegato in modo circolare con il fondo realizzato con sapiente intreccio geometrico (spesso in metallo nel Molise). Usato per l’agricoltura fin dall’Antico Egitto, in particolare per la separazione (vagliatura) del frumento: con il gesto del “setacciare” i chicchi di grano venivano separati da impurità come paglia, polvere, semi più piccoli o rotti.
Serve, dunque, per pulire e selezionare il buono dal cattivo .. il frumento nella fase precedente alla macinazione o alla conservazione.

An evening at the theater dedicated to Isernia. The themes addressed in the show "La Traversata" were truly diverse. A sieve / sifter / winnowing screen is nothing more than a large strip of wood bent into a circular shape, with the base crafted in a skillful geometric weave (often made of metal in the Molise region).
Used in agriculture since Ancient Egypt, it served especially for the separation (winnowing) of wheat: with the gesture of sifting, the grains of wheat were separated from impurities such as straw, dust, and smaller or broken seeds.
It is therefore used to clean and select the wheat before milling or storage.
